Hey everyone! I just want to let you know that I'll be starting the Kirby project about now. I had plans to do more Cartoon Network models, but I'm starting to feel a bit overworked involving how complicated these models are in comparison to the others I usually work on. I feel like I've gotten the most asked for models finished, so I hope that holds you over for now. Kirby would be much simpler to work on, so I'm eager to just move on for right now. Of course, I'll be revisiting the Cartoon Network project at another time.

Heads up! This project will likely contain spoilers from Kirby Star Allies if you care about the plot and don't already know at it this point. You have been warned.

That being said, the Kirby project will involve models from the 3DS Kirby games (minus Kirby Fighters Deluxe, though I shouldn't need it much). I also plan to get models from Kirby Star Allies, however I'll need to ask you for your cooperation on this one.

I have access to the model files for Kirby Star Allies like I do with the other Kirby games from recent releases. However, unlike other Kirby games, I don't have the means to convert the models from their original format. I'd need to be able to use the full version of 3DS Max, and I can't afford to buy that at the moment. Not only that, I'd likely have trouble using it on this laptop right now. Therefore, I hope to ask those of you with 3DS Max to help me out if you can. I have both the plugin and the files themselves and I'll share them with you if you're willing to help out. All you need to do is successfully convert the models and their textures into formats I can use (models in either .dae, .smd, or .fbx format; textures in either .tga, .dds, or .png format). I handle the rest from there.

Note that I do not have the DLC Dream Friends at this time. Also note that the true form of the final boss may not be possible to make in MMD due to technical limitations.

What's more, those of you who help out can earn free commissions for either Kirby models or others that I can convert for you (just don't ask for fully custom models, that'd get out of hand quick). So even if you're not a Kirby fan, you can still be a huge help and get a little something in return. If you want to help me, just let me know in the comments below. In the meantime, I'll be working on repairing models I've already ripped prior while adding a few new ones from the 3DS games.

To those interested in helping out, just let me know in the comments and I'll get back to you when I have time. Thank you!

This is probably a stupid question but are the KSA models files in .yaml ? I think i've found a program on Fruib's Twitter who can convert .yaml files in other format (i couldn't test it since i can't rip models of Star Allies) : twitter.com/Fruib_/status/1009โ€ฆ
If it's something else, then sorry.
